Acrylic on Board I attended a workshop at the library about ways we could save monarch butterflies. We should be planting milkweed and native species to feed them. I remember there used to be so many and now it's a rare find to see an actual monarch unless you are at a sanctuary. I hope we can do something before this gorgeous creature is lost to us. Acrylic on canvas Since attending an event with a rainbow theme, about two years ago, I have been absolutely obsessed with this pattern. I learned about Roy G. Biv, the order of the colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) in third grade, from my very favorite teacher in the world, Mr. Richard Toothman (may he rest in peace), and I teach it to my art students to this very day. I have been recently learning about chakras, which correspond in the same order and pattern. Limited Edition Prints are available. |
