Traveling Birds
Watercolor on Arches 300 lb cold pressed paper 15x22 2024 I had half a sheet leftover from my last piece, so I decided to attempt to go deeper into the waterfall. It was fun to play with it, but my composition got the better of me, and I struggled to keep from making the "mud" which can happen easily while working with watercolor. It was my last good piece of paper, and I'm done, enough, so that I can switch to another medium. I was going to make them rainbow colored birds, but decided to keep them fresh and more camouflaged. I still don't know how I feel about the piece, except, it is what it is. Watercolor
Arches 300 lb cold pressed paper 15x22 2024 My best friend, Joy, who I have known since I was two years old, just got her certification for past life regression hypnotherapy. I was her first test subject. She has been on a mission to assisting people with their personal journey of healing. When we started the session, I felt I was at an advantage because I have been practicing meditation for about ten years now. I have a technique that I use to "get into the space." It was there that I began to participate in the session. It's my rainbow crystal waterfall place. And here it is. The hypnotherapy and past life regression surprised me, because I have dreams continuously about things that may have been past lives, and the ones that came up were not the ones I previously had known. I guess that's why they say "Live and Learn." |
